5 Ways to Enhance your CBD Coffee

5 Ways to Enhance your CBD Coffee

Enjoy Your Coffee Your Way

When you’re an avid coffee drinker, finding a good cold brew coffee is one thing, while enjoying the taste is another. Sure you can drink it plain, a lot of people do, but the great thing is you can customize your favorite cold brew so you can enjoy it your way. We’re not just talking about the basics like cream and sugar, from different kinds of milk to adding various spices, there are hundreds of ways to customize your brew for a one of a kind, customized taste! Some are more uncommon than others but for the adventurous coffee drinker on the lookout for their next favorite drink, trying some new ways to add flavor to a morning cup of coffee could be the best way to find that next best drink.

Here are some of our favorite ways to drink our cold brew!

1. Vanilla Extract

Vanilla creamer? That’s child’s play. The next time you grab some cold brew coffee, consider trying some vanilla extract instead. Besides being a sweet alternative to cream and sugar, for the more health conscious adding a few drops of vanilla extract is also a great way to cut down on calories; one teaspoon of vanilla extract contains a mere 12 calories. As an additional bonus, vanilla extract has antioxidants, is antibacterial, and possesses anti-inflammatory properties which give it any health benefits in itself.

2. Cinnamon

Spice up your mornings – and your cold brew – with cinnamon! Stir a dash into your cup or even add a whole cinnamon stick for another way to cut excess calories and add sweetness to your coffee. Cinnamon also has many health benefits such as: lowering blood pressure, reducing appetite, enhancing energy, and soothing cold symptoms – just to name a few!

3. Cocoa Nibs

No no, not chocolate, cocoa. Cocoa is what chocolate is before it’s made into the sweet chocolate bars and candy you like, but it tastes and feels much different compared to processed chocolate. They actually taste very similar to dark chocolate, but are a bit chewier and nuttier by comparison. Add some cocoa nibs to your cold brew either by melting them first and stirring in, or letting them steep in the coffee for around 20 minutes before consuming.

4. Peppermint Oil

With the holidays quickly approaching, what better way to embrace the holiday spirit than adding some peppermint oil to your coffee? Peppermint is actually an herb that comes from a cross of spearmint and watermint, but for your coffee you’ll want to use peppermint oil extract. Add a couple drops to your coffee and stir in, but be sure to use sparingly because peppermint oil can quickly become strong and overpower what it’s mixed with!

Try some of our tips (or all of them) and let us know what you think! We love hearing from our customers. Don’t be afraid to put your own spin on things either! Whether that means adding cinnamon and vanilla extract, or putting something even more uncommon in your coffee, customize Kickback any way you want.
